The programme has an indicative value of £153 million in the SE region, and will feature two key priorities: extending employment opportunities and developing a skilled and adaptable workforce.
The purpose of the SE Region ESF Framework is to set out how ESF spending can support regional employment and skills priorities in the context of the agreed ESF Operational Programme for England. The new seven year programme will be closely aligned to the employment and skills challenges identified in the new Regional Economic Strategy and by the RSPA. Regional ESF Frameworks will enable Co-Financing Organisations (CFOs) to develop their plans so that ESF provision contributes to regional employment and skills priorities.
