The European Commission has designated parts of England, France, Flanders and the Netherlands as eligible to participate in a cross-border co-operation programme, part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund for the period 2007-13.
The relevant Member State authorities have agreed that these eligible areas should be managed and delivered as two cross border programmes as follows:
(i) France (Manche) - England (South) programme, including English coastal NUTS III areas from Cornwall around to Norfolk inclusive, with French coastal NUTS III areas from Brest to Somme inclusive; and
(ii) France/England/Flanders/Netherlands (North) programme, including English coastal NUTS III areas from Cornwall around to Norfolk inclusive, with coastal NUTS III areas in Nord pas de Calais in France, Flanders and the Netherlands.
